I'm Kimberley, mum to 5 year old Mia and the owner and creator at Made for Mia. Kim creates a collection of beautiful, modern and child friendly handmade dolls clothes. Kim started making dolls clothes for Mia, hence the name Made for Mia. Kim has become known for her beautiful collection of dolls clothes made using Authentic Aboriginal Artwork. Supporting Aboriginal Artists and supplying these educational, and inclusive clothing for many child care centres, schools and homes!

After a long battle with infertility, finally after a whopping 11 attempts at IVF we were blessed with our beautiful daughter Mia in 2017. I was thrilled to have a girl to dress up in beautiful clothes so decided to learn how to sew.
Mia has been doll obsessed since she was tiny! Always kissing her little dolly as a baby so when she got her Miniland Doll for her 1st Birthday of course I had to make her a matching outfit! We got so many comments when we would be out shopping (as her dolly always comes with us) so that is how Made for Mia began.
A story behind the name- I would get so many comments "do you sell these" and my reply would always be: "no, they are just 'made for Mia'.... so there you go that is how the name came about!
